Born in Granby, Colorado and raised in Denver Erika has always had a love for the outdoors & a taste for adventure.  Getting into gymnastics at a very young age (thanks to her older sibling) allowed Erika to flip & tumble her way into winning Colorado’s Level 6 State Championship.  After conquering the world of gymnastics (or so she thought) Erika decided to pursue her love of dancing.  Little did she know this would soon become one of her biggest passions & career later in life.  Training & Competing at Michelle Latimer Dance Academy opened up the world of dance to Erika & she quickly decided to jump on board without ever looking back.  At the age of 18 Erika was offered her first contract with Holland America Cruise Lines & with a little push from her mother she took the contract to dance on the high seas for 6 months.  Much to Erika’s surprise she absolutely loved dancing on the cruise ships & has since then completed 6 full contracts & many replacement contracts.  When she is not dancing all around the world Erika resides in Los Angeles, California where she is pursing her dance career in many different aspects. Teaching for Universal Dance Association has been something Erika has enjoyed since she was offered the job directly out of high school, and she continues to teach, choreograph & judge all over the world, most recently she was a head judge for the Asia Open in Tokyo, Japan.  Currently you can find Erika dancing in the Broadway National Tour of Peter Pan touring the United States!!!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “WHOO HOO what a ride.”
